Vacuum (melting and heat treating) -
Inmanufacturing processes, vacuum is utilized to eliminate gases, thereby preventing undesirable chemical reactions.
Vapor Degreasing -
A cleaning process in vapor over a boiling liquid solvent, the vapor being considerably heavier than the surrounding air. The process is used frequently during fabrication of fasteners prior to such operations as heat treatment and plating.
VBolt, Tapered ™ -
A blind fastener having a tapered shank portion. See V-Bolt.
VBolt® -
A 3-piece blind fastener assembly consisting of a corebolt, nut and a malleable sleeve, capable of being fully installed from one side of the workpiece.
